How strong is the magnetic hold?+
The MagPilot™ 360 uses an industrial-grade neodymium magnet core rated to hold devices weighing up to 500g — well above even the heaviest smartphones on the market. It maintains its grip through sharp turns, speed bumps, and motorway speeds.
Does the suction cup really hold on a dashboard?+
Yes. The rubber suction base creates a strong vacuum seal on any smooth or semi-smooth surface — including glass, polished plastic, carbon fibre, and most dashboard materials. We recommend cleaning the surface with the included cloth before attaching for the best hold.
How does the 360° rotation work?+
The magnetic ring head rotates a full 360°, allowing you to position your phone in portrait, landscape, or any angle in between. It adjusts with one finger and locks in place — no need to tighten a screw or clamp. Simply twist to the angle you want.
What is the metal plate and do I have to use it?+
The metal plate is a thin adhesive disc that attaches to the back of your phone or inside your case. It's what the magnet grips onto. Two sizes are included — standard and slim. If your phone already has a built-in metal component, you may not need it at all.
Does the mount wobble at high speed?+
No. The zinc alloy arm is rigid and the suction base locks firmly to the surface. Once installed correctly, there is no wobble, rattle, or vibration — even at motorway speeds or on rough roads.

Does the mount support wireless charging?+
The MagPilot™ 360 is a mounting solution and does not itself provide wireless charging. However, it does not interfere with wireless charging pads — you can charge your phone via a separate wireless charger while it's mounted.
How do I remove the suction cup?+
Pull the small release tab at the base of the suction cup to break the vacuum seal. The mount lifts off cleanly without leaving any residue or marks on your surface. It can be reattached and removed as many times as needed.
Will it work with my phone case?+
Yes. The MagPilot™ 360 works with virtually all phone cases — silicone, hard shell, leather, rugged covers, and wallet cases. The magnet holds through cases up to 6mm thick. Simply place the metal plate inside or behind your case and you're set.
Is it compatible with iPhone MagSafe cases?+
Yes. If you have a MagSafe-compatible iPhone (iPhone 12 and newer) with a MagSafe case, the phone snaps directly onto the mount with no metal plate required. The MagSafe magnet array aligns perfectly with the MagPilot™ 360 ring.
Does it work with Android phones?+
Yes. The MagPilot™ 360 works with all Android phones — Samsung, Google Pixel, OnePlus, Huawei, Xiaomi, and more. Simply attach the included metal plate to the back of your phone or inside your case.
Does it work with large phones like the iPhone Pro Max or Galaxy Ultra?+
Yes. The magnetic hold is rated to 500g and the arm has been tested with the largest smartphones currently available, including the iPhone 15 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Can I use it with a PopSocket or ring holder on my phone?+
If your PopSocket or ring holder is thin enough that the metal plate can still sit flat against the phone's back surface, yes. If the accessory prevents the metal plate from sitting flush, we recommend placing the plate inside your case instead.
Will it stick to a textured or leather dashboard?+
The suction cup works best on smooth or semi-smooth surfaces. Heavily textured, perforated, or soft-touch matte dashboards may reduce grip. In those cases, we recommend attaching the mount to the windscreen instead, where it holds perfectly on all glass surfaces.
How do I set up the MagPilot™ 360?+
Setup takes about 30 seconds. (1) Clean your chosen surface with the included cloth. (2) Press the suction base firmly onto the surface and twist the lock knob clockwise to seal the vacuum. (3) Slide the metal plate between your phone and its case. (4) Place your phone near the ring — it snaps into position. Done.
Do I need any tools to install it?+
No tools required. The mount attaches to your surface by suction only — no drilling, screwing, or adhesive tape needed. You can install and remove it by hand in seconds.
Can I move it between different cars?+
Yes. Pull the release tab to detach it from the surface, and reattach it in your other vehicle. Many customers use one MagPilot™ 360 across two cars. It re-seals just as strongly each time.
Where is the best position to mount it in my car?+
We recommend the lower-centre of the windscreen (just above the dashboard line) for the clearest view and easiest access. Avoid positioning directly behind the steering wheel, as this can obstruct your view of the road. Always follow local road laws regarding phone mount placement.
The suction cup is losing grip over time — what should I do?+
This is usually caused by dust or oil on either the suction cup or the mounting surface. Clean both with a damp cloth, allow to dry fully, then reattach. The suction cup should regain full strength. If the issue persists, contact us and we'll send a replacement.

Do I need to return the product to get a refund?+
In most cases, yes. Contact us first and we'll guide you through the process. Depending on the reason for the return, we may ask you to send the product back or, in some cases, process the refund directly without a return being necessary.
My product arrived damaged — what should I do?+
We're sorry to hear that. Please contact us at support@drivenavix.com within 7 days of receiving your order and include a photo of the damage. We'll send a replacement at no cost to you, with no need to return the damaged item.
How long does a refund take?+
Once your return is received and processed, refunds are issued within 3–5 business days. The time it takes to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider, but is typically 2–7 working days after we process it.
Can I exchange my order for a different colour?+
Yes. Contact us within 30 days of receiving your order and let us know which colour you'd prefer. We'll arrange an exchange subject to stock availability. Shipping costs for the exchange may apply depending on the circumstances.
Will the magnet damage my phone or its components?+
No. The MagPilot™ 360 magnet has been tested and calibrated to hold your device securely without interfering with phone internals, wireless charging functionality, or NFC. Modern smartphones are designed to be magnet-safe at this level of field strength.
Will the magnet affect my credit cards or key fobs?+
Keep credit cards, debit cards, and contactless key fobs away from direct contact with the magnetic ring. While the risk of damage at normal distances is low, we recommend not storing cards directly against the mount. Key fobs should be kept in a pocket or bag rather than placed on or near the mount.
Is it legal to use a phone mount in my country?+
In the UK and most European countries, using a properly mounted phone holder for navigation is legal, provided the mount does not obstruct your view of the road. Laws vary by country — always check your local road traffic regulations. Never interact with your phone screen while the vehicle is in motion.
Can the suction cup come loose and become a hazard?+
When properly installed on a clean, smooth surface, the suction mechanism is very secure. We recommend checking the lock knob is fully tightened after installation and re-cleaning the surface if grip feels reduced. Do not mount on surfaces that are cracked, heavily textured, or coated with wax or silicone polish.
